Stories With Aunt Barbara
Aunt Barbara told us a story about Jesus and some hungry people. The people had been listening to him all day and were getting hungry. The disciples wanted to send them away to get food, but Jesus took the little food they had and multiplied it so there was enough for everyone. Just like those people way back then Jesus gives us food to help us grow.
God's Garden Snacks! Mmmmmmm
Today Mrs. Corder gave us dirt and worms for our snack. It wasn't like the dirt and worms outside though. It was chocolate dirt and gummy worms. I never new worms could taste so good. Worms help the plants grow by cultivating the soul.
God's Garden Crafts
God really does help us grow and Mrs. Tasha helped us make a chart to keep track of our growing. Our growth charts had really pretty pictures on them and we got to color them. Now we can see how Jesus can help us to grow strong for him.
The Nature Nugget
Mr. Morris brought a container full of dark dirt that looked a lot like our snack, but he didn't have any gummy worms in it. The dirt was full of night crwalers, huge worms. He said they help the dirt get oxygen and fill it with lots of nutrition to help the plants grow. Gods gave us worms to help the plants grow, just like he gives us light, water, and food.
