When the children of Israel were in the desert with Moses they didn't have anything to drink and began to grumble to Moses about God. Moses, prayed to God and God told him to take his rod and strike the rock at Horeb. Moses followed the Lords instructions and there was water for the children of Israel to drink. God's Garden Snacks! Mmmmmmm Mrs. Corder had the table all decorated today with sail boats and had a special water melon sail boat to eat. The told us that water melons are 92% water. That's a lot of water. She also told us how people in other countries were taking the water melons and growing them in special shapes. They started out making them into cubes and now someone is making pyramids. God's Garden Crafts Yesterday Mrs. Tasha had each one of us place a been in a some water and today we began preparing its new home. We took strips of colored paper, wrote our name, drew some pictures, and then wrapped it around our little pot.(baby jar) Then we took our beans and placed them in our little green house, so they can start growing. The Nature Nugget Mr. Daily was our special guest Tuesday evening, because he knows a lot about water. He told us that we are 65% water. That's almost as much as the water melon. He told us that water helps keep us healthy and strong and the sometimes people are grumpy because they don't have enough water. Thank you Mr. Daily.
